We are definitely a boots-to-the-ground campaign, and volunteers put in about 10,000 steps for each shift of door-knocking. And for every 10,000 steps our volunteers take pounding the pavement, we take a giant leap forward to creating an Oakland for all of us!
We need to raise $10,000 for those 10,000 steps to buy the literature and lawn signs our volunteers need to pass out to voters. Will you give $20, $40, $75, or up to $800 for our final Get Out the Vote activities?
I’ve put so much of my heart and soul into this campaign, because I want to preserve our city’s heart and soul. I believe Oakland deserves better, and together we can do so much more to make our city work for all. I’m counting on your support.
